On March 16th, 2024, I lost my best buddy in the whole world. He was a wild-haired, pigeon-toed, bright-eyed sixteen-year-old mutt with a heart of gold and I'll never have another friend like him.
On the day he passed, I sat out on the back porch and played this song I wrote for him. He stood next to me as I sang and, when I got choked up, he had a really funny reaction. See if you can hear him.
I kept all the mistakes in the recording because this was a sweet moment between me and Peabo and I didn't want to spoil the authenticity of it. Hope you have a Peabo of your own because I will miss mine forever. ❤️
